Psychological Service Providers: Psychologists and Psychological Associates
The College of Psychologists of Ontario regulates the profession of psychology in Ontario. Members of the College of Psychologists are regulated professionals and are the only persons authorized to practice psychology in the province. Psychologists and Psychological Associates are members of the College of Psychologists.
Information to Third Party Payers
There has been some confusion with respect to who may provide psychological services in Ontario and who may bill for such services. This letter is provided to clarify any misunderstandings related to these issues.
Public Register - Member Search
The College of Psychologists regulates the profession of psychology in Ontario. You may search for a member of the College, either a Psychologist or Psychological Associate, by Last Name, First Name, City or Postal Code and further narrow the search by including Area of Practice, Client Population and Language, if other than English.
The Bulletin
The College publishes The Bulletin periodically.The College keeps the current and past issues of the Bulletin on the website so they can be read, at your leisure.
Council Meetings: Agenda and Minutes
The Council the College of Psychologists of Ontario meets four times a year and meetings are open to the public. Prior to each meeting, the Agenda is available on the website. Following approval by Council, meeting Minutes are posted as well.
