The revised Standards of Professional Conduct went into effect in September 2005. A revision was made in March 2009 to Principle 6.2 - Presentation of Qualifications, with the insertion of 6.2 d). Members of the College of Psychologists are required to adhere to the Standards in the course of practicing the profession. For the purposes of Ontario Regulation 801/93 Professional Misconduct, section 1.2, these Standards are to be considered the "standards of the profession".
The Standards are available in both English and French and may be downloaded from website or a hard copy may be purchased from the College on a cost-recovery basis.
